What is Kids Cove?
Kids Cove is a cozy, cheerful playcare area staffed by experienced caregivers. Whether your child is crawling, coloring, or building with blocks, our space is designed for curious minds and growing bodies.
By design, Kids Cove operates as license-exempt short-term care, meaning your child stays close while you stay productive. It's flexible, simple, and stress-free.
Rooted in the principles of social-emotional learning (SEL), we created an environment where children learn to understand, express, and regulate their emotions through play — the most natural and powerful form of learning. Our co-owner’s expertise in SEL ensures that every activity is designed to cultivate empathy, resilience, cooperation, and self-awareness.
How it Works
Ages: 6 weeks & beyond
Session Length: Up to two 3 hour sessions per day
Booking: Reserve sessions through our member portal
Ratio: Low child-to-caregiver ratio for personal attention
Separated Play Spaces by Age: "Tiny Tides" & "Busy Buoys"
Activities: Age-appropriate toys, music, movement, stories, crafts & outdoor time

Kids Cove access is a value-add only available those who have booked our co-working space.

We ask that all children bring a water bottle, snack, & also wear socks, come fed, changed, and ready to play!

On Site Communication: While you're working at The Cove, we make it easy to stay connected with your little one. Our Kids Cove Crew uses an SMS system to quietly and quickly notify you if your assistance is needed — whether it's for diaper changes, toileting, nursing, or anything else based on your child’s care preferences. That way, you can stay focused, knowing we’ll reach out if your little one needs you specifically.
